Killian’s POV

“Where is she?” I said calmly.

Marcus looked down at the ground, not wanting to meet my eyes. “She was in her cell when we left her, but she’s vanished.”

“How did she get out? We have them barred with magic.”

Marcus was in charge of our guards, so this fell on him, and he could tell I wasn’t taking this lightly. “The last thing James remembers is hearing someone singing.”
