Chapter 108

It's finally the day of the ball. I'm beyond excited because I have a pretty good feeling about today. I just hope that everything does go as planned and that Kayden shows up with Lucia.

Anika brings a beautiful gothic dress for me and and a leather choker necklace to complete the gothic look but I feel uncomfortable with the necklace, it looks more like a slave collar, it had the spot where a leash could be attached and I instantly realize something, this necklace isn't just some ordinary jewelry for beautification, it's a symbol of submission, problem to show that I already have a master.

Having to acknowledge that I'm once again somebody's slave, angers me to no end but I just have to put up with this only for a little while longer. Hopefully, after today, it'll all be over.

I take the accessories from Anika, pull on a fake smile and thank her. I sigh and go to the bathroom to take a bath. I soak in the bathtub for a bit before finally washing my hair and finishing up.
