“We need to talk right now,” I said urgently, as we quickly left the area and headed back to Magnus’s chamber.

“Her scent was strong on the silverwood’s beta,” I said, as soon as we entered the chamber.

“How is that even possible?” Magnus asked.

“I don’t know, but that is strange because the place where she was found was not even close to the silverwood pack, so how come her scent was all over him?” I asked, like there was anyone to answer, my confusion evident in my voice.

“I don’t know, and that is strange,” Magnus said.

“That means the silverwood’s beta was the one who helped her, and he has been the one keeping her all along, but if he is the one, why did he not bring her back to the pack?”
