Alaric’s POV

I was consumed by anger and paranoia, my mind racing with different thoughts. The guards have described the person who took Delilah, and we did a little investigation, and it was none other than the beta of the Silverwood Pack.

I have sent a message to the Silverwood Pack, warning them that if they don’t release my Luna, Delilah, immediately, I will declare war on them.

I was pacing back and forth, unable to sit still, anxious and on edge as I waited for a response from the Silverwood Pack.

I had a feeling that the Silverwood Pack’s true motive for taking Delilah was to seek revenge against the Blackwood Pack. They wanted to hurt us, to punish us for past conflicts and grievances.

Just as my anger and frustration were reaching a boiling point, I felt a strange, tingling sensation in the air.

Suddenly, Kaylee materialized before me, her eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. Her timing couldn’t have been any worse.
