Chapter 80. First Attack

Alaric’s POV

I was pacing back and forth, my mind racing with thoughts. I was trying to make sense of what Kaylee had just told me, but it was hard to understand.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I thought to myself.

Draco, the Lycan King? How is that even possible? I’m sure that the Blackwood had wiped out the entire Silverwood line.

But now, it seemed that we had missed one. Draco. How had he managed to escape our attacks? How had he survived? And now, he is a Lycan King?

It didn’t make any sense. I felt like I was living in a dream, a nightmare that I couldn’t wake up from. The more I thought about it, the more questions I had.

But I was too stubborn and angry to listen to Kaylee’s warning. I was determined to go ahead with my plan to attack the Silverwood Pack, no matter what.
