Elina’s POV

A few minutes later, she started to ask me questions I literally would not want to entertain, but she has been nothing less than a kind mother to me, so I should be nice with my response.

"They tossed you for being unmarried; am I wrong?"

I swallowed my saliva while looking down.

"She sounds like she knows stuff about me," I thought.
