Chapter 13

Elina’s POV

After a few minutes, the beta had left, leaving only me and my son in this lonely receptionist office. God alone knows where she went.

"Oh, I'm really sorry!" I heard a voice.

She walked past me and went to her seat. She is a bit tall, with fair skin and curly blonde hair. Gush! with a loud make-up on her face that made her look more like a confirmed witch.

"Good evening, ma'am. I have been waiting here all day. My son and I are extremely famished and tired."

She threw her witch eyes on my son; she was just so carried away that she could literally hear me. I was just speaking to myself.

"Madam!!!! " I screamed

Immediately, she looked at me like someone who had just woken up from a long sleep. She really scared me with her intense looks toward my baby. I tugged my baby so tightly to my chest.

"Oh, my daughter, I am sorry; you have a cute son; he is so charming; he has a rare kind of eye color; definitely not from you."
