Author's POV

Valen continued to check tirelessly in all the secret rooms he knew but still couldn't find the particular room where Elina's son could be. Just when he was about to give up, he heard the cry of a baby. He listened carefully to identify which room the cry had come from. When he confirmed the room, he instantly left, planning to come back later when Alpha Leo left for his meeting.

Valen went to his balcony, where there was a fancy sofa. He sat down on it, waiting patiently for Alpha Leo to leave the house. He wouldn't stop looking at every car that left the pack house.

A few minutes later, he discovered that Alpha Leo had left and rushed to the secret room to check on Elina's son.

Meanwhile, the nanny had just bathed the boy and managed to make him sleep after hours of crying. The baby missed his mother and wouldn’t stop crying.

Valen knocked at the door.

"Who is that?" she asked.

"I am Alpha Leo's beta, Valen. P
