Chapter 43

Elina's POV

I have been here for 4 hours now, and no one has shown concern nor looked at my face. I am starving; the last time I ate food was with Alpha Leo earlier today. I haven’t heard my baby cry. I hope he is doing alright.

"I need to break off from this place. I need to fight to get my son. Alpha Leo can’t continue to treat me like this. I may have to tell my father," I thought to myself.

"You don’t have to tell your father. You are strong. You can do it, just think well," a strange voice echoed in my ear.

I looked around but didn’t see anyone. This is not the first time. I hear strange voices, especially in times like this.

"What could it mean?" I questioned myself.

Suddenly, I noticed that the corridor light was lit again. I walked close to the door and peeped through the tiny hole but was unable to see anyone. I tried to walk back to my bed, and then I heard voices.

"Sir, she is in there?"
