Chapter 173. Scarlett Is Back on Drugs?

Scarlett heard the doorbell ring. She put down her books and walked down the stairs. "Mom." She called, but no one answered. She approached the door and flipped it open. She was surprised to see Dr. Charlotte at the door.

"Hello, Scarlett."

Scarlett took a deep breath. "Dr. Charlotte. You are here? What exactly are you doing here?"

"Your mother called. May I come in?"

"Oh. Sorry." Scarlett cleared the path for her to pass through immediately after her question. "So, my mother called you? Why?"

Dr. Charlotte walked over to the couch and sat. As she looked up at Scarlett, her legs were crossed. "Please call your mom for me."

"There's no reason for that. I am already here." October stated as she sat on the other couch. She cast a glance at Dr. Charlotte. "Would you like anything served to you?" October inquired. "Would you like some cold water or a coke?"
