Chapter 69. Blurring the Lines

Rex POV

Morning came sooner than I wanted, but waking up to Aries’s warmth grounded me in a way nothing else could. It was the reassurance I needed before facing what lay ahead. Within ten minutes, we were dressed and heading to Robin’s hut.

The maps were the priority now, more important than cracking the barrier itself. Without a safe path, all of this was meaningless.

“Any luck?” Aries asked as we stepped into the crowded room. Everyone was already bent over maps spread across the table, their faces tight with focus.

Julian gave a curt nod. “We’ve narrowed it down to five options.”

“Yeah, but only three are actually feasible,” Zane added, leaning against the edge of the table. He looked healthier than the last time I’d seen him, and just that sight made my chest loosen a little.
