  “Through your dad,” I asked.

  “Yeah, he had a heart attack in a mall, and luckily, you were there and rushed him to the hospital.” he smiled at me and took another sip of his drink.

  ''Woah, I can't remember any of that.” I murmured.

  “Don't stress yourself over it.” He warned.

  I nodded my head at his words, looked around and saw someone walking in our direction.

  “Welcome alpha.” he lowered his head in respect to Eric before flickering a warm smile at me.

  “Food is ready.”

  “Thank you.” Eric stood up from the couch and walked to me.

  “Let's go upstairs, you need to bathe and change your clothes.”

  I nodded my head and stood at my feet.

  We took the stairs until he stopped in front of a door and opened it.

  I got in and saw a big king-sized bed in the corner of the room, the painting on the wall was different from the painting in t
