Chapter 82. Paxton Blood

Emma’s POV

My body melts into Thomas’s touch and he wraps his arms around me from behind. I haven’t felt this at home with another man since Ethan. “I just want to know who was stupid enough to break the bond with you in the first place,” he whispers next to my ear. His hot breath on my neck causes goosebumps to travel up and down my body.

“I would have thought that it would be common knowledge,” I say as I shake my head to clear it of the lust filled feelings that are swarming inside of my head.

Thomas pulls himself away from me and begins to dry the plates that I am absentmindedly washing. “Everything has been kept under wraps,” Thomas says as he sets the dried plates on the counter next to him. “No one even knew you were alive until a few years ago. By then you were already back here.”

“I see,” I say in confusion. “I thought all of the Alpha’s were invited to my Luna ceremony at the Crescent Pack.”

“So I was right,” Thomas chuckles to himself.
