Chapter 155. A Man’s Efforts

Ayana’s POV

It is almost midday, and all I can say is that time has really flown so fast. Like they say, time seems to fly when you are having the blast. Every single second of it today was filled with laughter. I have lived in a moment that I have never lived all of my entire life. I bubbling from my soul to my skin.

This has been therapeutic and euphoric. Pure glee. I would bask in this moment forever, but I think I better get going so that I can prepare something for my daughter to eat after returning from school. And the distance from here is way far. I don’t even know how I am going to cover that since I did not bring any money with me.

“What?” He asks after noticing my frown, which is so efficient. Even the blind would probably see it. Sigh!

“I just realized that time has really passed. I need to start heading home,” I explain, the issue of how I will get home still bothering me.
