Chapter 60. Which Way?
Her head was a whirlwind of questions, banging her constantly. Her body was a pool of emotions, savagely surging in like a tempest. But she had no one to answer her questions. She knew she would not get the answers even if she gabbed for them on her knees.
And again, she was past begging. She was not supposed to beg for anything or anyone. But with all facts in hand, she felt like there was too much in their plan of letting her go that they had let out. What that was was something she would have given the world to know.
All the same, amidst her turmoil, which seemed to have no end, at least not any time soon, she refused to let Grace intimidate or sway her.
