“Don’t tell me you want her to come with you,” Robby scoffed at Adam.
“And why not? That is her rightful place because I am supposed to be her husband by now. And you? On what grounds are you taking her? To try and win her over.” Adam fired back.
“On the grounds that she does not loathe me the way she loathes you, man. And that gives me hope. I still don’t know why you are still standing here. You should be gone to your other women. You have thousands of them queuing for you, right? Stop wasting your time here because there is nothing for you here. Ayana is not for you. She can never be yours to toy with,” Robby said.
“Stop it, both of you,” Ayana said, her voice trembling with emotion. “Can you both stop talking about me as if I am not here? I am not some kind of object that cannot speak for itself for goodness sake.”
