The way she walked with class, catwalking as if she were a model, the perfume that greeted Ayana’s strong sense of smell, and the big sunglasses that she took off after stopping just a step in front of Ayana, revealing the long eyelashes that left Ayana wondering how they had fitted in the sunglasses. The lady extended a hand, stopping Ayana’s tour of scrutinizing her as she spoke, “Greetings, Mr. and Mrs. Robbin.” Even the way that she spoke didn’t settle well with Ayana, but she tried not to look too obviously inquisitive by faking a smile that didn’t come out too well. “I am Claudia. Pleasure to meet you, and I am honored to be taking care of your daughter,” she spoke, her hand still hanging in the air, awaiting a handshake from Ayana, who seemed in awe.
