Chapter 85. Past Is In The Past
Ayana’s POV
I pat her hand gently, assuring her that all is right. I think I have way too much grudges piling up in my heart to add more. My heart might blow up from all this. But that is not the reason why I am forgiving her. I am doing this because she deserves it.
She pleaded nicely, and I can feel how sorry she is. Besides, there is always that first impression which is not too accurate at time, right? She deserves this. We both do, so that we can work together in peace and harmony here.
“It is alright, Mrs. Julio,” I say, giving her a reassuring smile. “All that is in the past. Let us leave it there. Let us start all over, like people who never had that encounter. I forgive you,” I say.
She nods her head, a smile stull tugging at the corners of her lips as she speaks, “Thank you. So, how is your daughter now? Is she perfectly well? I was happy when I was told that her injuries were not that serious.”
