Chapter 94. Ogling the Man
Ayana’s POV
The cappuccino takes a few minutes to prepare with the help of Mrs. Julio. All through the preparation, she has been giving me a side eye, stealing glances at me from the corner of her eyes, and smirking for something that I know nothing about. And since I am already anticipating the situation awaiting me back at home, I don’t have interest in anything, so I don’t bother asking what is so amusing about this whole Adam mess.
She seems so weirdly forgiving of him for reasons that I don’t know too. She is being overly and unnecessarily nice to him. She is probably the one person who can embrace him with all his stinking stains. The reason for that remains unclear to me. But I will find out when I have time. Just not now.
