The poison masters let out a loud laugh at Madison’s response, their fondness for her impossible to miss.

“Good, good.” One of them nodded earnestly as he stroked his long, gray beards in satisfaction and elation.

The other one, seemingly the stricter one uttered solemnly, “Then, you shall officially be our third and last student. We will introduce you to the others tomorrow when you will start learning with them.”

I watched as Madison nodded enthusiastically, her eyes glistening with joy. She seemed so happy that I was caught by surprise, I had no idea she would be so into poison and medicine arts.
