Myles POV

“Hi.” I said awkwardly as I approached.

“Oh, Mr Voss.” The doctor replied and was already stretching out his hand for a handshake. “Nice of you to drop by. Big fan of what you do. I’m Doctor Monroe.”

He knew nothing about my alter ego, so I took it he meant my daytime profession. I took his hand firmly. Serena looked away like she wouldn’t even stand the sight of me.

“How’s she?” I asked the doctor. I know Serena wouldn’t answer if I asked her.

“She’s going to have to lay off that toe for a couple of days. Gonna have a hell of an ache in it too, but she’ll be fine, eventually.”
