Myles POV

Trust girls for asking random questions out of the blue. Serena’s question caught me off guard, and I winced as if a cold blade had been embedded deeply into my heart. My foot suddenly came down hard on the brakes, and we stopped right there in the middle of the road.

The car behind me was about to collide with mine, but my quick thinking and sharp reflexes saved the day. I immediately started the car again and veered out of the way and into the curb close by, avoiding an accident just barely.
