Chapter 7
It seemed to be a secret door, but it was locked and required a combination code to open. She made a mental calculation and entered her birthdate. The lock shone a red light, indicating the password was wrong.
Cassandra tried multiple combinations, but they were all incorrect.
“Okay, let’s try the day he was made Alpha,” she thought aloud and entered the date. Surprisingly, the door unlocked and opened. A staircase led down to the basement, and Cassandra curiously descended.
The room was dark, and there wasn’t much her human eyes could see, but then she adjusted to the darkness and saw a huge cage at one end. There seemed to be something inside it. Carefully, Cassandra approached, but she slipped, and her hand hit a rod that fell against the cage, causing a loud noise.
