Nora turned to see Layla standing, she stood up and rushed to her 

“Oh darling, you shouldn’t be standing like that” Nota cautioned and Layla smiled before removing her hands from her grip 

“I wasn’t standing, I’m going to sit beside my husband” Layla replied and Nora was shocked by her reply 

“Come sit down my Luna” Ethan smiled at her 

Nora's eyes widened in surprise, her face flushing with a mix of embarrassment and understanding. She wasn’t expecting Layla to act that way to her and the way Layla moved to sit beside him, her eyes locked on his, spoke volumes about their connection.

Layla's smile was radiant as she settled into the seat next to Ethan, her hand instinctively seeking his. Ethan's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled back at her, his grip on her hand gentle but possessive.

"Thank you, Nora," Layla said, her voice warm and gracious. "But I'm perfectly fine. Just enjoying the company of my mate.
