Nora's eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled and embraced Layla warmly, holding her close for a moment. "I love you, sister," she whispered.

Layla pulled back, her smirk still playing on her lips. "Love you too, Nora. Even if you can be a bit much sometimes."

Ethan chuckled, shaking his head good-naturedly. "Well, I think we've established that both of you are going to be just fine. Now, let's get you rested, Layla. You and our little prince need to take it easy."

With a final smile, Layla nodded and continued to their chambers, Ethan by her side, while Nora watched them go with a warm heart.

“Whatever you have in mind Layla..you should know I’m your boss,” Nora thought as she watched them go away 

Nora's eyes lingered on the empty hallway, a mix of thoughts swirling in her mind. She was indeed Layla's boss, but their relationship went beyond that. 

With a quiet sigh, Nora turned and headed back to her duties, her mind already thinking
