Chapter 22

Hazel could be seen walking through the hallway with Maya and Naya

“I told you two I’m going to my room, where are you taking me,” Hazel said again 

“We are taking you to your room” Maya replied 

“But this isn’t the way to my room,” Hazel said and they ignored her 

Hazel's eyes narrowed, her voice firm but laced with a hint of unease. "Maya, Naya, I mean it. Where are you taking me? This isn't the way to my room."

Maya and Naya exchanged a knowing glance, their smiles growing wider. "Oh, Hazel, you'll see," Naya said, her voice dripping with excitement. "We have a surprise for you."

Hazel's grip on her bag tightened, her mind racing with possibilities. She didn't like being kept in the dark, and her instincts were screaming that something was off. 

"What kind of surprise?" she pressed, her voice firm.
