Chapter 28
Hazel stepped out of the bathroom, she was greeted by the warm glow of the bedroom lamp. She wrapped the towel around her head, turban-style, and began to dry her hair, her thoughts still lingering on the events of the day.
She walked over to the dresser, her eyes catching on the small, framed photo of her, Naya, and Maya. She smiled and Just as she was about to start getting ready for bed, she heard a knock at the door.
"Hazel, can I come in?" It was Noah, his voice soft and gentle.
Hazel's heart skipped a beat as she wondered what Noah wanted.
"Yeah, come in," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Noah entered the room, his eyes filled with concern.
“Naya informed me about what happened with Danika at the studio,” Noah said and Hazel sighed
“I told her not to inform you” Hazel muttered
