Chapter 139. Unexpected Intimacy

Alpha Logan's POV

The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the dense forest. I was training. I had come back out after a brief rest after dinner. 

I'd started with a series of sprints, pushing my body to its limit as I darted through the trees. My muscles burned, but I welcomed the pain. Hell! I'd always been in love with pain and even so now that I had experienced all sorts of loss.

The pain helped. It reminded me of my purpose —to make Moonville Pack pay. First because of Lillian of the moonville pack, I had lost the love of my life…my true mate, Issahil. And then, because of the moonville pack, I had lost a third-quarter of my pack.

I was making them pay. I was embracing all the pain and training this hard to make them pay.
