Carlos's POV
The storm was raging. Rain lashed against me, soaking through my clothes and chilling me to the bone. Thunder rumbled overhead, and lightning split the sky in brilliant jagged lines. Still, under the raging storm, my feet was running. I had to see Elena. I needed to see her. I needed to tell her how I felt before it was too late…before she was gone.
