Chapter 46. Disappointed

Issahil's POV

“Wait! What do you mean accident?” Hudson dragged himself to join us and Keisha trailed behind him.

“I am so sorry.” The scientist shook his head sadly. “Someone is dead.”

Someone is dead? I charged towards the scientist with a growl, both my fangs and claws making an appearance. With just one strike, he was down, one side of his shoulder bleeding.

“I am sorry, things just went a little out of control,” the man's voice came out muffled. 

“Where are they?” The guardian asked and the scientist pointed towards a door at one end of the lab, it had the inscription, ‘secret lab’ on it.

I rushed towards it and Hudson and I passed through the door at the same time. 

Horror spread across my face and I staggered back, my palm moving over my mouth. 

My father… A stinging sensation hit my nostrils. My father was on some metallic table, blood oozing all over his body, his heartbeat faint.
