Chapter 7. Accusations and Humiliation

“You.”

My heart leapt in my throat at the voice and the icy undertone. I turned from the view I’d been watching to see a very beautiful, wealthily dressed young woman. Something about her was intimidating and scary.

“Good day.” I plastered a polite smile.

“You’re the new guest, huh?”

Unable to do anything else, I nodded.

“You think you can come into this pack and take away the one person I have my sights on, right?” This strange woman advanced towards me threateningly and I took shaky steps backward. 

“W-who are you t-talking a-about?”

“The Alpha, you man snatcher.” She growled at me and I almost jumped out of my skin.
