Blair’s POV

Once we were at the entrance lobby, Ronnell spoke to the security guards, making them aware of the man spiraling outside on the sidewalk, then he bundled me into the executive elevator and crowded me into the corner.

He braced his hands on the wall beside my head, while he swept his gaze over me. “Are you all right?”

I slowly nodded. “Sure, I’m fine.”

To be honest, I truly was okay. For a split amount of seconds, I had been afraid of what Tyler might do, but with Ronnell’s immediate and unwavering protection, I felt safe.
