Blair’s POV
I stared at Ronnell, my gaze lingering. For the first time since we’d entered his office, the flawless veneer he usually presented had cracked, revealing a raw vulnerability beneath. I couldn’t claim to understand the complexities of dating a wealthy man, but I could empathize with the challenges. Trust must be a scarce commodity, always shadowed by doubts about another person’s intentions.
