Rather than fear, anger flooded my veins combined with the knowledge I already had against Philip Pillax.

I stepped forward, Jared tried to restrain me from going further, he was showing care for my wellbeing.

But I snatched my hand from his and approached Rashford, the medic attending to him didn't bother stopping me, probably resigning herself to the fact that her words would not be adhered to anyways.

Letting him see the determination and anger lurking my gaze, I leaned in. “I will be waiting for him. In fact, Rashford, I am ready for him.”
