Chapter 29. Death

She stood, but she was quickly pulled off the bed again. There is a hidden force pulling her away. She tried to stand again, but as with what happened a while ago, she's in her bed again. "Xaxu," she said with irritation. He did cast a spell on her.

While she's been waiting for him to come back, a part of her past has visited her mind. She bit her lips to realize what that memory was about. She closed her eyes to prevent crying. She just saw the images of her mom and her father. Everything was just okay before this hell started.

“Sion, are you really in deep pain because of me?“ She whispered in the air. Though her friend is a soulless piece, and though she knows she can't receive her friend's response, she still hopes she can get an answer from all the strings that are pulling her backwards.

She sighed and leaned on her pillow. “Not because someone told me I'm doing the worst thing, it means it would stop me from continuing to shelter
