Summoning the power of her abyssal sword, she advanced, but as she neared the rock wall, the sword's fire began to dim, its color blurring. "What is happening?" she whispered, alarmed.

The flames around her sword flickered and faded. Then she heard footsteps stop in front of her. "Phoenix," a man's voice called out happily.
