Chapter 51. Not Again!

Shimma’s POV

I lay on my bed, facing the ceiling as tears poured down both sides of my face onto the bed.

I almost fell for it again. I almost fell for his lies. For a moment, I was brainwashed into believing that he loved me. How could I be so stupid?

God! I don’t want to see him ever again. I don’t want to talk to him. I don’t even want to hear his voice. I want him out of my life for good.

“Knock! Knock!”

I heard a knock on my door, followed by the sound of my mother’s voice.

“Shimma!” she called out.

“Leave me alone! Just leave! Leave my house!” I yelled, but I heard the door handle turn down. She opened the door, about to step in, but I quickly stood up, wiping my tears away.

“Leave! Now!” I growled, my voice filled with rage. Her eyes flew open in shock as she stood frozen, looking up at me.
