Chapter 19. Arrived

Shimma’s POV

Three Weeks Later

It’s been three weeks since we left California. In that time, we’ve wandered through three different countries, each with its own sights, foods, and feelings. But now it feels like the right moment to return home.

We first explored Santorini, Greece with its beautiful whitewashed buildings perched on the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. Gosh! The sunsets there were so mesmerizing, painting the sky in vibrant hues. Oh, I can’t forget the fresh baklava and grilled souvlaki we enjoyed in charming village cafés. I have always dreamt of visiting Greece ever since I was a child, and Mattias just made it happen. I love my man!

Next, we found ourselves in Tuscany, Italy. The air there was filled with the aroma of wine and ripe figs. We strolled through medieval towns like Siena, enjoying local cheeses and fresh pasta—It was so amazing, I didn’t want to leave.
