Shimma’s POV

“Lucas, why are you doing this?” Mattias asked. But I could tell Lucas wasn’t ready to explain himself. And that was what scared me the most: the fact that he could be so selfish, so senseless, so desperate to go this far just to be with me. When the last thing I would ever want was to be with him. “Well, I hate repeating myself, but I’m here to take back what you stole from me,” Lucas said loudly, followed by the shocked gasps and murmurs from the crowd.
