Shimma’s POV

The next morning, I sat across from my mum while we were both focused on our phones. Mattias was working upstairs in his office. He couldn’t leave me alone at home, not when Lucas hadn’t been seen or heard from.

“So tell me, do you like this design?” I turned my phone towards my mother. It took her a few seconds before she glanced up at me, which left me wondering why she was so lost in her phone.

“Let me see,” she said, taking my phone and scrolling between the two wedding dresses I had shown her.

My designer had sent those two since they were the best designs she could come up with, and both of them were exactly what I wanted.

“It’s really hard to pick,” my mum said, her eyes focused on my phone.

“I know, it’s been hours and I still don’t know which design I should go with,” I said, feeling frustrated as I ran my hand through my hair.
