Chapter 67. A Slightly Late Date

“Would you like something to eat, dear?” asked Rafael as they relaxed and watched a zombie movie.

Aleah shook her head with her eyes still focused on the movie. “Nothing. Didn’t we eat dinner already? I’m full enough that I don’t want anything,” she replied.

“How about a midnight snack?”

“No. I don’t want to eat anything either, especially at this time of night. More than that, what exactly happened to you to want to ask me out so badly?”
