Reaching them, I am slightly relieved to see the woman is Roxy, but rather annoyed she would touch him like that when she knows full well he is married.

“Oh, hey Alena, how are you?” Her words sound cold, her eyes no longer gentle or caring. I am trying to smile at her, but something makes it hard. It is like she is angry with me for something, yet when she looks up at Jackson, her face softens, and she is the Roxy I know.

“Roxy wants to know if we are busy tonight?” Jackson winks at me. For the first time, I feel uncomfortable around Roxy. I don’t want her anywhere near us at all. I don’t even want her using his business, to be honest.

“Can’t tonight. We are busy with someone else.” I smile. Jackson looks confused. Why did I say that?

“No, we are not, Alena. We have the night off. The whole night.” I want to pull him away and tell him to say ‘no’, but then she will know something isn’t right. “Alena, who do we have plans with tonight? Names please.” He smile
