Chapter 38. Sending Him out

Walking in, Georgina runs to me. Gripping my hand, she pulls me through to the kitchen.

“I am sorry about my big mouth telling Liam. How did it go?”

I can’t blame her. She was drunk and I know how she gets when she is drunk.

“The baby is Jackson’s. We are telling Helen tonight, so don’t worry, you don’t need to keep it a secret.”

She smiles, hugging me. “I knew it would work out in the end. Now, when you’re fed up of Marcus, there is nothing holding you to him.”

Pulling back, I look at her. That was hurtful. “Even if I get bored of Marcus, I would not get rid of him. He is a good friend as well, Georgina”

She nods, turning to look at Helen, who is sat there with the girls, playing. She is ill and only seems to be getting worse.

“Well anyway, I am guessing that the bump means it is the end of the playroom for you then.”
