Chapter 6
I was a fool, a fool for thinking it would be more than a one-night stand, but then again, I am more annoyed with myself for not moving into the bedroom. At least then there would have been something good to remember, not just his lips on my body.
Georgina walks through the door and in a way, I am glad, sure she is going to ask about Jackson and last night, but I won't be alone with these thoughts.
“How was work?” She smiles at me while turning on the kettle.
“Boring, as usual, not much fun.” She always asks how work was. As if she is waiting for me to say it was amazing, we danced on tables and everything. Work is work, boring and the same every day.
“Can I get some details now about last night? Real details.” Now she is asking; I actually don't want her to. I need to escape. Talking about it will just make the memories worse.
“I am tired, and I am going to go back to bed for a bit.” Standing up and walking towards my room, she stops me.
