His tears kept flowing as the man slouched on her chest, the cups of coffee abandoned on the ground. Her fingers raked up in his soft hair as he held her close.

"I never knew..." he croaked out like a frog, clutching her dress fabric in his hands as if they were his lifeline. His body was shaking as her words kept sinking in until now.

Do the people really view him as a God? Superhero, yes. But...he isn't familiar with people believing in him and praying for him.

He was always so preoccupied with finding the cause and saving the innocent that he never gave regards to the actual pleads and calls for help. And when he finally got rid of the negativity, he didn't pay much heed to the thankfulness and all the smiles, turning his back on them and escaping from the scenario after clearing them away.
