Jasmine arrived dressed up in a pink silk cocktail dress with curly straps, a low neckline, and a frilly skirt that stopped just above her knees and showed off moderately long smooth legs, her feet, and strappy pink stilettos.
“What a beauty!” Exclaimed Mary. “You’ll knock them dead today,” she added as she hugged her friend tightly.
“Look at how prettier you’ve become,” she teased.
“What are they feeding my baby?” She added, drawing herself from her to examine her better.
“It is you that has changed over these years,” retorted Jazz, tapping her friend’s shoulder-friendly.
“Enough with the sarcasm,” Mary cut in. “Let’s get going lest we arrive there late. It’s already past nine.”
“My bad! But you’ve just arrived. You may not have eaten. Should I get you a drink or something to eat before we leave?” Jazz suggested.
“Ah, Jazz, don’t worry. If I want something, I’ll go get it myself. I am not a visitor here,” she joked.
