The other beta that had not spoken had short hair and looked bored. He scoffed lowly and then joined the conversation. “She’s right here, we can just ask her what she was doing down there.” He shrugged. 

They all looked at me, waiting for me to explain myself. I smiled nervously and then exhaled deeply. “Alright. You guys caught me.” I chuckled lowly. “Your friend was right, but he was off a bit. I was taking pictures of the prisoners, not taking selfies.”

The blonde-curly hair one smiled, feeling happy that he was right, even though he had no idea that I was lying through my teeth. 

“Why?” The rough-looking one asked. 

“To show to my friends. Duh?” I shrugged. “Is it a crime that I would want to show off to my friends that I have a dungeon under my house?” I smiled lopsidedly.
