I sniffled and after a few seconds, I pulled away from her touch. It felt so freeing that she now believed me. Now the next thing was getting revenge for our pack. 

I wiped my face with the back of my hand once again. “Yes. I was given another chance for a reason, mom. And knowing that you are alive and I’m not alone makes this even better.” 

She squinted her eyes for a few seconds. “What are you talking about?” 

“Revenge! Revenge, mom! The Moon goddess gave us a chance to avenge ourselves! Can’t you see? This is a chance to bring justice to the people who lost their lives to the rogue pack!”
