Clary adjusted herself in the seat and sighed as she chewed mentally on the idea of reporting the preacher. She was incredibly tempted to do so but also felt like it was not the right thing to do. 

She felt like she had done enough damage to the lives of the people she had rubbed on. First, it was the preacher, she was the reason his family left him, and why he became a drunkard, throwing his whole life in the gutter. 

Then there was Levi, she was the reason that he and his sister’s relationship became strained and unhealthy. 

That was not all. There was Ace, she was the reason that his wife left him. And now, he was alone in that vast mansion. 

Clary knew deep down that whenever she entered the lives of people, everything seemed to go wrong. So yeah, she believed that maybe she was cursed and was actually meant to be alone.
