Her bones ached and her heart rate slowed, causing her breathing to become deep also. She felt like her control over her body was fleeing with each passing second. The rain was still pouring heavily and the claps of thunder were loud. 

In a minute, Clary had transformed for the first time into a full-grown werewolf. She had shifted in her wolf, Silence. She felt a strength that she had felt before, it was incredible. She felt like she could do anything; that it was all possible. 

“How do you feel?” Her wolf asked her. 

She chuckled incredulously. “I…I feel powerful,” She confessed. “I finally feel in control of my thoughts.”
